Barcelona secured a 1-0 victory at home yesterday against local rivals Espanyol.
The goal came in the 56th after a bizarre seven-minute spell of events saw both teams lose a man.
Barcelona starlet Ansu Fati saw red for his challenge on Fernando Calero. Three minutes later, 20-year old Pol Lozano was also given his marching orders after fouling Gerard Pique.

The Blaugrana then scored after some good work from Griezmann and Messi left Suarez in space to finish.
Here are the player ratings from the victory.
Marc-Andre Ter-Stegen 8/10
Protected his clean sheet well and made some good saves when called upon. A steady performance from the German stopper.
Nelson Semedo 6/10
Didn’t have a major impact on the game and was taken off at halftime.
Gerard Pique 8/10
Organized the defence well, won most of his duels, and was solid with his distribution as usual. A typical performance from El Presidente.
Clement Lenglet 7/10
Defended well most of the game but his high challenge in the 65th minute could easily have led to a sending off.
Jordi Alba 7/10
Was a presence on the Blaugrana’s left flank throughout the game but couldn’t impose himself on the game.
Sergio Busquets 6.5/10
An uncharacteristically untidy performance from Barcelona’s anchorman. A far cry from his brilliant performance away at Villareal last time out.
Ivan Rakitic 7.5/10
A decent game in midfield from the Croat. A solid presence for the Blaugrana throughout the game.
Sergi Roberto 8/10
A bright performance from Barcelona’s versatility specialist. Was a bundle of energy in midfield and was solid when moved to Right-back.
Antoine Griezmann 7/10
Didn’t quite follow up his last outing with a great performance but he put in some good work. Showed his cleverness and awareness with a brilliant backheel to Messi in the build-up to Suarez’s winner.
Lionel Messi 7.5/10
Not the most brilliant game from Leo Messi by his standards but it was his shot which saved and led to Suarez’s goal. Took Espanyol’s defenders on multiple times and looked bright in spells.
Luis Suarez 7.5/10
Steady game from the Uruguayan. Wasn’t involved heavily in the game but was on hand to turn in Barcelona’s winner.
Ansu Fati 3/10 (Barely played before being sent off)
Arturo Vidal 5.5/10 (Not much impact on proceedings)
Martin Braithwaite 5/10 (Looked lively in the few minutes he played)
Ronald Araujo N/A (Not enough minutes)
