Erling Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola told Sport1 on Thursday that he has not spoken with any presidential candidates at Barcelona despite claims he’s been in touch with Emili Rousaud.
The controversial agent said: “Fake news! I’ve never talked to any presidential candidate of Barcelona regarding Haaland and I won’t do. If there will be a new president elected in January, he can call me”.
The 20-year-old forward is under contract at Dortmund until 2024 which means any club that is interested in him will need to pay big money to sign him in the summer.
The former RB Salzburg forward has scored 33 goals in 32 games since signing for Dortmund and Barcelona could really use his clinical finishing, with the La Liga side relying heavily on Lionel Messi.
Luis Suarez moving to Atletico Madrid has meant that Barcelona are even more reliant on the special talents of their no.10.
Raiola telling Sport1 that Barcelona can call him does suggest that there is a willingness to sell him on Dortmund’s behalf.
